Christine D. Catelli, 58, confessed to shooting her 35-year-old son multiple times in June 2022 and disposing of his body in Whitman County. She was arrested on second-degree murder charges after her brother reported her confession to Spokane County authorities.
Police charged a 20-year-old man with second-degree murder after his mother’s dismembered body was found in a Toronto trash bag. The victim was identified as Tien Ly, 46.
