CPD Officer Murdered by Teen on Home Confinement
Retired Chicago Police Officer Larry Newman, 73, was fatally shot by teen Lazarus Watt who was on home confinement with multiple violations. The beloved explosives specialist and pastor was killed outside his West Garfield Park home.
