Charles Barkley always speaks his truth no matter what people think. Charles is now facing some backlash for the comments he made on TNT regarding Breonna Taylor’s murder. While he did say that he felt sorry that she lost her life, he went on to say we have to realize that her boyfriend shot at the cop first.
Barkley also said he wouldn’t put Breonna’s death in the same category as George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery. Of course many people are disappointed in what Charles had to say but it wouldn’t be the first time. The backlash is real.
Jemelle Hill didn’t hesitate to chime in with the following tweet.
With all due respect to the TNT crew, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron did not present the full story in his public comments. He presented half-truths to shape a narrative. The police were careless and reckless and tried to cover their ass https://t.co/AmSj4eZwnJ
